Founded in 2021 in Kigali, DATA+ was built to solve a clear gap: access to affordable, internationally certified training that goes beyond just theory into real, hands-on application. In response, we created a practice-driven program supported by a research consultancy and an AI-focused technology arm tailored to African market needs.

The Africa Applied Data Analytics Bootcamp is an 8-week live online program designed to equip African professionals and leaders with practical data and AI skills. Participants gain hands-on expertise in Advanced Excel, Power BI, AI-driven analytics, and data-driven decision-making, with no coding background required.

Since 2022, we’ve trained 2,400+ learners across 15 African countries in data science, artificial intelligence, project management, M&E, and geospatial data analytics. Delivered in person, online, or self-paced via our Learning Management System, every program ends with a real-data capstone and a certificate.
We offer end-to-end research support, from study design and enumerator training to data collection, analysis, and reporting. We never subcontract; our trained team runs every project. Our clients include Rwanda’s National Institute of Statistics, VVOB, DAI Global, IPAR-Rwanda, Caritas Rwanda, PLAN International Rwanda, Research Moguls, and Mazima Consult Ltd.
We build AI-powered software to solve Rwanda’s specific gaps. In development: a legal research tool that makes case law instantly searchable; a business intelligence platform that gives SMEs real-time dashboards once reserved for corporates; and data system models for organizations.
